Mplayer error when open rmvb file

I got Mplayer worked on my Ubuntu ,but when I open an rmvb media file,it prompt an error message says:
ERROR: Could not open required DirectShow codec drvc.so
Here is a solution to this error:
$sudo apt-get install libstdc++5
